Zhana D’Arte
The illustration is inspired by the Australian pioneer Annette Kellermann. She was a professional swimmer, film actress, and writer. My illustration is part of *Noir x Mermay* and portrays her as the first mermaid on the silver screen.
Homage to Ann Blyth
This illustration belongs to my Noir collection of vintage mermaids in Cinema. It depicts Ann Blyth in her role as the mermaid in “Mr. Peabody and the mermaid” from 1948 and is an American fantasy film.
Silver-screen Tail
