🏛️┊The Algorand Fine Arts Metagallery (AlgoFAM gallery for short) is a Co-Op virtual gallery run by members of The Algo Photography Club and The Algo Art Community Discord Servers.

🎨┊ The gallery's mission is to serve as a space to collectively showcase the incredible fine art available as NFTs on the Algorand blockchain.
🗝️┊We want to avoid the gatekeeping that the traditional art world enforces and give all artists the opportunity to get their art in front of collectors.
🤝🏽┊Members work together to create experiences for collectors to find, appreciate and connect with art and artists. To create more "utility" that many collectors crave.
💸┊The AlgoFAMgallery does not take any commission or collect any $ALGO. Artists mint their own work and submit links to their NFTs on the Algo marketplace of their choice.
🚫┊No tokens or shitcoins shall be issued by The AlgoFAMgallery. We are here for the art. NFTs are the future of digital art ownership. We believe collectors should invest in the art because it speaks to them, not because they expect to flip it for 10x next week.
🗳️┊Future exhibit themes will be suggested by and voted on by the active members of the discord servers. Voting membership is open to any artist minting on Algorand and active on either server. There is no membership fee.
📢┊Each exhibit will have an open call for entries, with each artist submitting 5 artworks with an order of preference. If the number of submissions exceeds the available canvas slots, then the lowest self-ranked artworks will be dropped first.
🖼️┊The only curation will be whether or not the submission fits the theme (like paintings submitted for a photography exhibit) and its location in the gallery.
